A Public Health Physician and Clinical Epidemiologist with vast experience in conducting policy and practice relevant research at the local, national and international levels. He is trained both locally and internationally in Public Health, Global Health, Clinical Epidemiology, Cancer Prevention and global Tobacco Control.
He had been Principal Investigator of many internationally funded projects and a collaborator on the Global Burden of Disease studies. Currently he is the Site PI for the Men of African Descent Cancer of the Prostate (MADCaP) multi-site study funded by NIH and PI for the Tobacco Industry Monitoring, Exposure and Discrediting (TIMED) in Nigeria Study funded by CTFK. Dr. Adebiyi has over 50 publications in reputable journals and is the Coordinator of the College Research and Innovation Management (CRIM) unit in the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan.
